The name of our restaurant is derived from an Asian spice, similar to cinnamon, called Cassia. We thought the name is perfect as the bold taste of this spice is represented in our style and cuisine.
Cassia is a first class venue for dining, conferencing, and all kinds special events. Whilst overlooking the farm dam and surrounding landscape, guests can enjoy modern, stylish and tasty meals, lovingly prepared by our team. The wines produced on Nitida is the perfect companion to the dishes served in our restaurant, so guests can expect nothing but a complete wining and dining experience.
All food prepared in our kitchen is made from locally sourced and produced ingredients, as we feel that these offer the best flavour and also complement the type of cuisine we offer. Although our food can be seen as upmarket, Chef Barend Gouws believes in a simplistic approach – so, guests come here to eat, not fuss.
